Measure the bolt across the thread peaks as shown.
A 10mm (M10) bolt is shown in the picture below.

  • M8..............25 Nm
  • M10............45 Nm
  • M12............90 Nm
  • M14..........105 Nm

SAE Bolts:
  • 1/4"...............9 Nm
  • 5/16"...........24 Nm
  • 3/8".............39 Nm
  • 7/16"...........78 Nm
  • 1/2".............90 Nm
  • 5/8"...........136 Nm
