I KNOW I have seen posts regarding stainless steel replacement oil hoses, but cannot seem to find the thread to save my life. This weekend, I was adding a (much needed) oil pressure gauge/sender and noticed my hoses from the pump (oil) to the cooler are slowly seeping oil Upion close inspection, I found they were actually fraying around the swaged fittings at the hard pipe. I was planning on rebuilding them, but can't find a local shop to do it. My preference is to replace them in stainless steel. They are pretty strange with a Banjo fitting on one end and a strange compression fitting at the cooler. Doesn't someone sell replacement hoses in stainless? Can I simply hose clamp on new hose in the sections between the hard-pipe? Thanks!

You can purchase the hose from Summit Racing for about $15 and use hose clamps, or most Napa auto part stores can crimp the new hose. You could also look for someone who sells Hydraulic lines, they probably could crimp them for you. Word of advice mine was seeping then blew onto the head and caught fire. I would change them out ASAP.
