Avoid looking for help with your heater...

Just found my heater passing water and looked in the heater intake - full of water up to the intake tube! Take the cover grille off, find the rubber drain plug in the bottom of the box and open it back up with a screwdriver. Water drains out.

So, is your blower motor running?

I had mine shorting and blowing the fuse. Had to remove the whole heater to dry it out. A bitch!

I've permanentlyremoved the drain plug (doesn't do anything) and drilled a few holes where the blower motor bolts on, just to drain any water getting that far.

Yeah still working fine. Guess the water god was kinder to me this time. ;)
