View Full Version : Guess the curb weight of my truck and win!

I am looking for a trailer and plan to weigh the d90 this weekend

The closest to guessing the actual weight of the truck (in lbs) (without going over) wins a small british flag pin and maybe a few stickers....yeeha!

It is a 94 softop, 35x10.5 16 SSR's on alloys, Husky 10k and custom bumper.
It will be measured with no driver, has the rear seat in and bikini top only. Rhino lined and has the rear bumper on. Close to full tank of gas. Dual optimas and amps and a 10" sub.
Door tops will be on also.
Any other questions before you guess are welcome

Yeah but if you have him sit in the truck it would take off weight with those little arms that he has. :)

The bigest variable is the custom front bumper. Post a pick of it along with the material thickness used.

I think it's 1/4", but not too sure.
Its pretty beefy. Also has rock sliders on it.

Ok,
I will up the stakes, I will throw in a Land Rover Cape Fear (our local dealer) Hat and Frisbee, a Great Basin Rover sticker, and maybe a Rovertym sticker if I still have it.

I am just getting the weight of the truck non-expedition loaded.

I will probably go ahead and get a overkill 10k lb trailer, but I was curious what the truck weighed as it drives daily.
You gonna put those shocks/springs on soon?

I was gonna do it over christmas but girlfriend is coming and i think id better visit with her than the rover, even tho Id rather be busting my kuckles under the Rover....

OKay Ill say 4420 pounds. where you gonna have it weighed? WHen? ANd as far as your trailer always better to have and not need than to need and not have.

oh well then I will add a 100lbs to my guess due to their shitty scale. That damn place has the most crooked measurements.

The suspense is getting thick.....
I have been trying to get the drum roll going in the background....
I took her for the weigh in.....
The total weight was 4509lbs! (passenger weight not included)

Marc thewap at 4460 lbs is the winner! (PM me your address for the party favors!)

Buck the rear wheels weighed 2220 (my 211 lbs was in it for that weight in)
That was a bit more than I thought.....

More than I thought too but thanks for posting up. It looks like the Curb weight numbers floating around the web are pretty accurate. My goal is to break into the 3,000s (I think I might be there) so this was a great thread! Thanks
