So I'm looking for 4 lamps to mount up on my roll cage. I've searched around the board and it seems everyone's using Hella lights. Now I've always had my eye on Lightforces. They just seem to be the best solution to me. Adjustable, light, and bombproof. Why is it that no one seems to use them?
I'm looking at 4 140's, but I think they might look a little small up there so I'm also consider 2 240's on the outside and 2 140's on the inside.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I'm running two Lightforce Striker 170's on the bumper and love em. The main reason I prefer these is because they offer so many different lenses (Amber, Red, Blue, spot, etc) not to mention that they are crazy bright. The blue lenses have been great in all of this snow.
Next time you're watching a Baja notice which lights they are running- PIAA or Light Force.
Also, I run four PIAA 60XT's on the factory roof rack. I fab'd up some mounts and YES, I DID RUN THE WIRES INSIDE THE ROLL CAGE BAR. I can't stand sloppy installs. Just me.

Whoops I meant 170's, not 240's. Those are huge.
How do you think the 140's would be up there? Too small? The 170's are just more expensive so I don't want to use them if I can get away with the 140's.
Thanks!

Been running twin 240s on the bumper for 2 years + now. They are great.

Nah, I think the 140's would be fine- I just like the looks of a rectangular light across the roll bar. The way I mounted my lights avoids the glare alot of folks complain about. I needed some light up high (above bumper level) due to the deep snow and tall weeds I often encounter.

Matt,
Agree. I've put rectangular above the windscreen, and made a bar to carry them about 18" back so that they don't shine on the hood.

I love my 170's! And the blue is amazing during heavy snow fall!

Rangley? The guys that have the cargo nets for STs. I think that's where I got them.
