Does anyone know an alternative part number for a stepper motor out of a 1997 sw. I guess the 94-95 3.9l are different. The dealer wants 300 bucks.I looked at the "tech" link and there are 2 part numbers but I dont know what year they are for? Any help would be great. thanx

erik, I believe the stepper motor from a 1980 tr8 will work.

Check out www.rangerovers.net and look under "idle air bypass valve" in the tech or common problems section for the RR classic or newer model RR. They have alternate parts that may work. The cheapest steppor motor found was $39.
