I took this off a 1993 left hand drive (us side of the road) defender 110 pickup. It comes included with lots of the parts that mount to the bulkhead (trim, wiper motor, pedals, etc.)

Here is a real treat for those of you that want to upgrade your land rover series or who have the steel cab to engine bulkhead rusted out. This comes from a 1993 defender LHD (NAS side of the road) without airconditioning. I have the mounting bolts to mount it to the frame. The truck it came out of was a diesel. Included are a couple of pictures of it .

Much (though not all) of the trim, accessories, mounted pieces on both the inside and outside are included in the sale. A partial list of included parts are as follows: windshield wiper motor and arms (not the parts on the window but the inside bulkhead parts) , all pedals, dashboard trim and padding, plastic surround for guages, plastic surround for ignission, stearing wheel shaft and mountings, heater core, blower fan (not in good shape), fuel filter, much of the front wireing harness (some is cut), door hinges (3) windshield washer nozel, cooling doors for positive air flow in cab, mountings for break and clutch master cylinders, clutch master cylinder (not in good shape), fuse box and cover (old style fuses), cables and levers for air system, misc trim and body gaskets. There is rust on the floor boards but it is surface on the inside (you can see it pretty well in the close up pictures) and a little worse on the outside (under the floorboards).

If you want pictures of any detailed parts, let me know. Sale will be final and buyer is responsible for shipping. I have looked into shipping with grayhound bus lines and it looks like around $300 should get it most places in the US, however it would have to be picked up from your nearest grayhound station. I will do what I can to help, might even be able to deliver within reason if you cover my costs (contact steve) harrrding@juno.com or me haaseizhere@juno.com LOTS OF OTHER ROVER PARTS (DEFENDER) FOR SALE, ASK ME I MIGHT HAVE WHAT YOU WANT.

I also have access to much of the rest of the vehicle (rolling chassis, suspension, rear tub, stearing, etc the parts I didn't use) however I will have to ship it from central america, contact me if you are interested to persue this. Could be a great start for an upgrade and it is the 1993 model which can come in.

MAKE ME AN OFFER I CAN"T REFUSE. pictures to follow, I will reduce them to fit... should be by tomorrow.

Man, if you clean it up it will be easier to see the actual condition!

So the bulkhead is in Texas? And the rest of the truck is in S. America? Is it down in Honduras?

I'll offer 500.00 and go collect it, for the bulkhead.

I am looking for more like $2000 for the bulkhead. the rest of the truck is in Honduras as I wasn't able to bring it up... this is rolling chassis (disk breaks in front and drum in the rear, rear tub, and other miscilaneous parts attached to it.) I am open to offers just let me know what you are willing to pay... thanks. william

I thought that looked like a Honduras truck. Did it have a special vehicles metal sticker on the radiator surround? Most of my truck came from Honduras. D90 SW.

Your price is high on the bulkhead IMO.

I just had a friend buy a bulkhead and pay over $3000 plus annother $1000 for shipping. Has been shoopping for a while trying to get one. I am willing to accept offers, but your offer is too low. it wasn't a special vehicles truck as far as I know. How did you get from Honduras? do you know how I could ship the rest of the vehicle up to the US? I could also send up lots of other parts and vehicles if I could figure out how to do shipping reasonably...

I remember my customer Mark K contacted you about this bulkhead. He paid a lot for his bulkhead but it was much more complete then yours with late model diesel wiring harness attached. Is he the friend you are refering to. Yours is over tens years older and pretty rough compared. An apple's an apple and an orange is an orange.
If you want more money for it I would think you would at least clean it up before you take pictures of it for sale.

Shipping from S. America is difficult. Do not have any clues for you really.

looking at the pics I'd say:
bulkhead with rusted out footwells=no value
cracked dash pad=no value
cracked gray vent plastic=no value
cracked instrument cluster= no value
rusty pedal assemblies=$200
steering column=$100
lower dash assembly if no splits, or cracks $300
heater assembly=$200?

I think JP needs to lay off the pipe for offering $500

No dog in this fight, but in the pictures it appears there are chunks taken out of the lower dash assembly. So negating that $300 from your break-out above, Pendy's offer is dead-on. Mark

its funny jim, you have no trouble selling somebody a right hand drive bulkhead that then has to be converted over at aditional expense with minimal aditional parts for over $3k, but when it comes to buying you have trouble paying out even though I have all the bits and pieces attached... I guess this is the definition of business... anyway, I am also trying to survive, so will have to get more for it. thanks.

Oooooh, now I get it.

It was supposed to be buy high and then sell low ... ;)

Honestly, that looks like a pretty rough piece and its not exactly in the neighborhood available for inspection befure purchase ... whadya expect, top dollar for it?

Actually I did not sell anyone a RHD bulkhead. I had to fix one someone paid more then 3K for though. They bought from Britanica Restorations. It was complete with correct wiring harness. But the pictures failed to show how it was tweaked and rusting from the inside out. With yours showing rust from the outside I can only guess what is in store to make it servicable.

I have never gotten more then 500 for a bulkhead I have sold. And I have sold at least one in better shape then yours. Wish I still had it to list next to yours.

Tell you what. I'll take a gamble here. Get the thing to me and I will get it cleaned up for sale and make avialable paint to match. Of course I will take a mark up but maybe it will at least be worth the money your tring to charge to someone in the end.

Its really a complement to me to have the king of cutthroats tell me I'm smoking Crack as well (Shane)

Heah at least we are boosting your views on this item to help you find a buyer.

I don't know what the extras (that are decent) are worth, but I bought a LHD Bulkhead, 2 Rear Doors, both BC Pillars & a Seatbox ALL BRAND NEW and paid under $3,000 including shipping to Chicago! Now, I'll admit I didn't get the extras that are on that one, but these were all brand new parts in the primer and ready to prep, paint and install. (actually, now that I think about it, the seatbox was even painted.)

IMO $500 seems very fair for that piece.

Just my opinion and I hope I don't make too many enemies my first day on here! ;)
