I'm running the alloys and one for the spare, can it still be used or do I need to use steel? Thanks

Neil,
Here is a pic if it helps any. It works fine with the alloy. I only put the jack on when I plan on maybe using it. Other than that I leave the high lift off just because of the weight. The back door already has enough weight on it

February 28th, 2007, 07:22 PM
The 2 manuals are spoken for....
Neil, to mount you take the spare off once the bracket is on if you want to change the tire you remove a pin and the end otf the bracket slides off. see picture its actually 2 pieces,, see the pin/ring in the pic...thats where they seperate

That's really it. Space and funds are at a premium as always so I try to let go what I'm not planning to use to offset the cost of what i need/want. I'm going to go over to 110 steelies at some point and will be letting go of my stock wheels and 255x85 MT's if interested.

Neil NP enjoy. If you dont like the angle of the high lift u can take the bolt out and drill another hole. The one I sent u was for a SW but can be changed for a ST by drilling.
Repair manuals gone
Tire cover gone
Sliders are in NY on Dans truck he came up and we installed them in about 40 minutes. Mighty inconsiderate of him to leave all that Paragon mud under the truck. : )
He also has my RockWare Bumper.
I have front and rear diff covers from South Down. They are galvinized the front is new and the rear is used but slightly dirty.
$350 and $150 respectfully..

It's for sale now, for only 199.00!
:grin
Can't you still buy them at Safari Gard? I like it, it looks cool and I used a gunlock to hold it to the spare. I thought it would be too heavy for the swing away but it seems fine. The swing away is bolted to the roll cage so as long as you don't back into something I think it'll be ok. Plus the tire gives good support for it as well. Ron the height seems ok, is it suppost to sit higher? I just mounted the hi-lift with the bracket in the middle. It sticks out a little bit but not beyond the receiver hitch.

You can get it from SG with a 8-10 week wait (built on order I guess). Same for their receiver which I want as well. Just don't want to wait 8-10 weeks, but maybe I will.

I had emailed them asking, and their response was essentially they could make the items listed listed on the site as no longer available, but had a 8-10 week lead time. Specifically I had asked about the HLM and receiver.

If this is the badgercoachwork window bag, it will hold all three windows. Very nice touch if you ask me and a nice upgrade compared to the stock top where my windows would get scratched just because they were laying on the ground of the rear of the truck.
