Lift time. Safari guard does not make thier own springs anymore. Rovertym is nonexistant or at least the web site is now. Old man emu doesn't make a three inch lift?

I get car stuff for my birthday. Its next week and I want to order a lift. Help

Go with Rovertym. Steve is still around I'm guessing the web host is down. Look them up in the phone book and call.

OME 764 all the way around with 1" spacer in the back will give you close to 3" lift.

Not sure about Rovertym, but OME does have a setup that will allow a 3" lift. I believe 766 in the front and either 762 or 781's in the rear will suffice.

That's 33.4 x 11.6in. You don't even need a lift for that. Especially not 3in.

edit: A 1in spacer would work well. Other than that, I would just keep it stock.

I am not sure on the gear change. Most people I know switch to a VDO. But, going from 31.6 to 33.4 is a 5% increase, so I wouldn't even worry about the spedometer untill you get larger tires.

On the lift, if you keep it stock your going to lose .9 of an inch of clearance between the tire and fenders. If you want to keep it the same, a 1in spacer would be just right. But, a 2in might look okay. Here is a pic of my truck with a 3in lift and 37in tires, before I cut it all away (only one I got, sorry it's crappy). With 33's it just wouldn't be right.

Maybe if you want to grow, get the 2 in springs, and then add spacers when you go to 35's or 37's.

The speedo is definetly more accurate with 255/85/16's vs the stock 265's.

I run 35x10.5's and swapped my speedo gear with one from a disco (on a 94 D-90). It's now dead-on as compared to a GPS. Total cost $0. (got the speedo gear from a friend)
