It is registered as a kit car. It has been for sale on LRX.com for a long time.

So why is it bad to have a car registered as a kit car. I'm going to start building a 110 soon and I was thinking about registering it as a kit car. Is there any advantage between getting a series title or a kit car title?

Yousef, I don't think that there is anything wrong with a kit car title. I would rather have that than than a series title. Also, you can get a kit car titled cheaper than you can buy a series title.

I think in some states if you have a kit car title you can only drive so many miles a year. Not sure just remembering what someone said. I think the laws change from state to state.

In Some states, like Colorado the kit car needs to be something far apart from any production vehicle.. Also there are emission systems to deal with and safety stuff that might just not fly with a 2004 Defender 110 kit car... Do a Series title this is a much easier road...

I guess eBay caught up on that item. Damn, and I was going to go back and save the pics to add to my collection of LR pics, I guess too late now. That was one of the nicely done ones IMO. :)
