I'm thinking about ordering two sets of those wheels, one for the 90 and one for the 110. Now I've heard people had problems with those wheels, where the weld breaks off. Also does anyone know which website I can find those wheels?

Those MJ Lee wheels are crap. Hans at the Ntl. Ralley had a set on his white d90 and nearly every spoke had cracked and had been welded, sometimes more than once.

IMO I wouldn't waste my time with them.

Mike, not a complete 110 just the rolling chassis. However, I still need to pay Keith and pick it up which should be in a few weeks :)

David, I always had you in my mind about selling my wheels, so when they go for sale you'll be the first to know :)

Michael, I've seen Hans wheels but he told he only had one crack which he had it fixed. I though by now MJ lee wheels will be better since he had that issue with them for a long time and that's why he does not sell/ship the wheels to the US b/c of lawsuits.

Yousef, I thought for sure Hans had showed me several places on his rims where they had cracked. He also mentioned the limited importation due to lawsuits thingie.

I would hope that they have figured out how to fix the problem, you might want to indicate to them that you have heard and talked to those who have had problems first hand and are nervous about their QC now.

Michael, that's what I'm hoping for! You would think if something been on the market for a while they would know the problem and correct it.
Wow those wheels are expensive! I think I'll give them a try and see how they hold up. I hope they can make'em in 17X9 with 4" back spacing.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Dave, yes I'm going to be there, but I won't get to Cruses till Friday night, wheel Saturday, and head home. Short trip I know, but kids and school leaves no time to play.

Sorry chaps. I tried to post a picture of my hybrid with these wheels on but it all went horribly wrong! As I then got fed up, I deleted the text that went with it.
Mike is right, I had a bobtail RR with an early set and they did crack up and loose air. The new type, not using the Disco rims are much better. They have rolled edges now and are spun by Matt Lee himself at his workshop. I have had no problems with the new set and are very pleased with them, not to mention how cool they look on LR's.
Get some, you know you want to!
Check out our website, I think there are pictures of both motors.

The RR is in the Dragon Trophy Gallery and the Hybrid is in the Wales Gallery.
Thanks for looking!

Every time I see a picture of the wheels I like'em more and more :)

I need to call one of my brother's in the UK and have him call MJ Lee to see if he can make those wheels in 17X9 with 4" bs.

If I can get them I know they will look sweet with Rover Tracks beadlocks kit and a set of 37" Krawlers :grin
