On the RRC, in front of the radiator, behind the grill, are two diagonal bars/tubes that appear to support the metal over the radiator, under the hood, behind the grill.

One of "those" members on "my" POFS is rusted clean in half... I would like to replace it before putting the grill back on (had to replace the headlights, too). I suppose I could get one fabricated if this one's too rusty to weld (it likely is), but a simply replacement from Will Tillery would be preferred.

FWIW, I'm only acting in good faith in fixing these things... I don't know how long I'll remain as the owner of this fooking bastidge.

Thanks...

My day saturday was spent prepping and painting under the decker panel to get it ready for re-installing the wiper motor assembly; then finishing the power steering hoses and reservoir. Never got to the wheels or steering gear. It was a miniscule victory, but after removing the fan blade (with $100 of special wrenches!), belt, pump pulley, and fussing and cussing at the bloody hoses attachments, I was happy to put it all together and have it start w/o leaking (for now).

Next weekend I was supposed to be using this rust bucket for a surveying project, so I don't know if I can push the client a week and work on the truck or let the truck sit another week before tackling the wheels and steering gear.

Manual calls them "cross brace"

Thanks, John. I ran out of time at the end of the day and didn't look through the manual.

Much appreciated.
