I built this garage just for Rovers. I can pull in with a Hannibal Tent on top.

Three doors, 9'wide x 8' high. Ceilings are 12', heated floors with floor drain for winter washing. Next garage will have one 9' high for 35" tires.

Any chance this truck have decals on it before your ownership, I think some members have die cast models of your truck.
You could have had a mini me version of your D110 when it came with a cigar purchase a few months back

I have one of the models and it looks just like this 110 with the exception of a few advertising stickers. Very nice truck, I would buy it if my wife and I had not just had twins! Good luck with sale.

The previous owner put some goofy safari graphics on it. They were off the first ten minutes in my garage.

It is a supersized version of the diecast models, very cool. :)

Not that I know of, the guy I bought it from is a PGA golfer.

I know sometime back a dealer in WestPalm Beach was selling it, then I recall it listed on eBay.
I am glad that the images on the side were decals and not painted on.

Someone put a lot of work into this rig, redid all the capping galvanized, repowdercoated the cage, MudUK annodized aluminum hinges with SS hardware, HID lamps etc. Really a sweet rig. I am a friend of Bob's in the interest of full disclosure, but it really is nice.

Thanks for the plug Kevin. Yes, this is the famed MonteCristo 110. It ended up in West Palm as the dealer was friends with the PGA golfer that I bought it from. He was just selling it for him. It had a couple of years it moved around, but the bottom line is if you go through this rig it is one of the nicest 110s out there.

Any chance this 110 is still for sale? I'm from Saratoga Spring as well, let me know - thanks!

It was still available back in December, but has changed a bit.. He added a on board air, new tires, axles, about $10k worth of upgrades.. He also apparently wheeled it a lot and ended up blowing the engine.. Price changed to $50k w/ blown engine or $60k w/ 4.6 ...

This was back in December, and I got that info through a friend who was looking at buying it, so take it for what its worth.

I rebuilt the 3.9 recently and it is running great, but not for sale. It is such an awesome rig now I can't part with it.

I was getting the usual "you have too many toys" attitude at home.

I love it. Someone talking out of their ass about someone elses truck whom they've never met nor seen in person.

I love it. Someone talking out of their ass about someone elses truck whom they've never met nor seen in person. That's why I posted the fact that I heard it from a friend, and to take it for what it's worth.. And shortly after that, the original owner confirmed what I said (with the exception of heavy wheeling), and chose to rebuild the 3.9 instead... dont think ya can really consider that talking out of my ass.

a) you "heard" it from a friend...
b) you list a bunch of shit that is completely wrong (i.e. "blown engine" was not the case, the seller installed an ARB in the rear locking diff, etc.).
c) several of us on the board wheel with the seller so your statement about heavy wheeling only becomes a hinderance to their sale because you insinuated that they are a "heavy" wheeler.
c) you post in the sellers thread instead of waiting for the seller to post themselves.

You were talking out of your ass.

I see your point, I was just trying to help. Did not think the seller was still active on the board, and was passing on information that I heard, and gave warning that it wasn't first hand knowledge.

retracted it before you posted.. Bottom line, I was only trying to help, and tried to make it clear in the thread that the information was not first hand.

Help who? You weren't helping the seller or buyer with what you posted. Leave it at the apology and be done.

I don't think there is a seller as the truck is not for sale as Bob has indicated.

I was the friend Ryan referenced. I had emailed Bob before when I saw this post and heard that he had not sold his D110. So I emailed him asking if he wanted to sell. He gave me the overview info Ryan mentioned - about blowing a head gasket on/after the TVTX trip he took and his plans to replace maybe with a 4.6. Looks like he rebuilt the 3.9 instead. Its a great truck and I am glad he is keeping it. If I had it and sold it I would regret it.

Just posting to clarify - I don't want others to think Ryan was trying to make things up. I know Ryan and he wouldn't do that. Especially about Rovers!!
