How about disconnecting the front driveline for more aceleration, etc. on road? I heard there's a tweak you can make to the t-box to get this done, along with some fairey hubs up front...

Any info?

There was a french company that was advertising this mod a few years ago
Land Service???
As for the free wheel hubs....... they are rare, very rare.
I did have a set on my SIIA hybrid but took them off because when offroading in deeply rutted conditions the free wheel hub would rub on the bank and disengage leaving two wheel drive and a lack of forward motion.
I eventually sold them at Sodbury Sortout.
Fairy (Superwinch did make the freewheel hubs for very early 110s because they had selectable 4 wheel drive. the option was discontinued because noone wanted it.

The shop your looking for is BCB in Cali

As to power gains, a very little, but it will cut down on wear on the front end components by a good amount and is rumored to improve gas milage. There is a lot of good feedback out there. One thing to think about though, if you have a rear locker that is not selectable, just keep the full time.

Did a similar full time to part time conversion on a Chevy Blazer once. Other than digging less ruts into a dirt driveway when turning, I noticed very little improvement in mileage or power. The only real difference was that I had to get my feet all muddy to get into 4wd because I had installed manual hubs.
