Just looking at the calendar and seeing that the snow's a-coming (and Mike can't last too much longer driving without doors or top)....
Any interest in putting a trip together in November?

Sure, I think I could round up a few Rovers from up this way. Any idea on a place?

I might be in provided my wife's ire has subsided by November. Keep me in the loop.

I was hoping that Pete or Jorge might have a suggestion.
You MA/NH guys have been making the long drives. Maybe we can find a good locale a little closer to you this time.
Kearney, What sort of bribe to your wife will it take?

Dave M. keeps telling me about MaBell and Florida Road, and I know of some trails in my area that we could make a day trip out of. I don't know if anyone would want to camp up here in November. I will have too start maping out trails.

Why do you have a house or something of the kind I could give her?

Dante, do you have any suggestions on trails in the NJ/NY area?

I would be up for the Florida trail any time in November. I should have my lift kit on by then. I think the bsroa.org people have something going on in December??

I would definatly be in for a run in november.
Florida Road is definatly on my list of things to run and I would definatly show up for that.
As for NY/NJ area...
There is Wurtsburo(NY), but I have heard that the local police have clamped down and wouldn't want to chance it. Maybe someone has some additional info.
Ringwood (aka Stag Hill) is where i go locally. This can be a lot of fun for about half a dozen trucks. There are miles and miles of terrain, alot of which I haven't covered, with some really techinical sections for those who want to try. It would make a good day trip.
If not there is always Paragon.

Who would be in for a trip to the NJ/NY area? Who would be in for MASS/NH? We could do 2 trips. I think another East Coast group meet would be cool but I think the NH/Mass area is too far for some to travel.

Mike, I'm all over the NY/NJ/PA run. Overnight or a day trip would be fine by me. I think I'll pass on the MA/NH trip though. Only limit here for me would be that I'm busy the weekend of Nov 7. Is Oct any better?

What about the First or Second of (Saturday/Sunday) of November or does later in the month look better for everyone??
Jorge are you up for this one?

What about Vets Day weekend (8-11 Nov)? I couldn't travel until the 8th, though. 1-2 Nov "could" work. I'm flexible...
Pete, What's the deal with Ringwood? Good camping nearby, or is it getting a bit chilly for that?

Sorry guys I was away for a bit. Went to paragon this past weekend with my Brother. Had an awesome time out there! so is the 8-11Th. still on the calendar? Just to let you guys know that Ringwood gig is about 10 minutes from my house and the man is clamping down up there. It is good for a day run but if we want to do a camping thing I would suggest Paragon again. Any input? I also have no problems traveling so let me know.

I'm busy the first 2 weekends of November (1st+2nd, and the 8th+9th). So this trip may be a nogo for me:( . Is the camp near Paragon seasonal, will they still be open?

I think that Red Ridge campground is open all year. I will call and double check.

Looks like Red Ridge is closed but there is a RV camp across 80 that has cabins that you can rent for $75 that sleep 4. A little more expensive then camping but a little warmer. I may be able to make it to Vets day weekend just not sure yet.

There is camping close by to ringwood at a local camping ground (10 minutes away) but it wouldnt be my first choice since it gets cold at night.
So what are we leaning towards Paragon or Ringwood?
Seems like Veterans Day weekend is good except for all except Mike.
How does 2 trips sound one on to Ringwood Veterans day weekend and another after Thanksgiving to Paragon?
