I know this is a stretch, but I'm looking for a car trailer in VA/MD/DC. New ones are shockingly overpriced for what they are, and I only need to use it 3-4 times a year so it doesn't need to be pretty. Would prefer a 16' as the car I need to pull weighs very little (not the 90).
For rover content: I'd pull it with the rangie
Thanks,
Tony

Check ebay. There are many, ranging from several hundred $ to several thousand $.

Tony, there is a car trailer for sale by me. I realize that I am far from DC/VA/MD area but I sometimes travel to your area and wouldn't mind bringing to you.
The local Volunteer Fired Department uses it for parades. It's 18 feet long and has dual axles. It has a railing (I'd say about 3 feet high made of steel). It also has a canopy, yes... a canopy. looks like they use it to parade around some older folks from the VFW. They said that since the gentlemen from the VFW are too old to ride in the trailer they don't need it anymore. They are asking for $1k for it. It looks like it's in real good condition. I could snap some pics on the weekend if you'd like. I was thinking of buying it for myself but I really have no use for it. If you want I could give you the phone number of the gentleman I spoke to and you can negotiate a price with him.
Let me know if you are interested. We could always meet somewhere in between NJ and DC (maybe we can do a trail run in the Pine Barrens...)
Later,
John C.

A Canopy, how can I turn that down!!! The POS Bentley can live in shaded comfort on the trailer!!! Actually, if you wouldn't mind taking a picture or two, that'd be great, Thanks. Regardless, let's hit Pine Barrens!

'48 Mk VI Special -- started life as a big heavy saloon, got converted into a trials car (hillclimbs) sometime in the 70s. Has an aluminum body now, looks like a very low vintage racer. Is currently undergoing a frame-over as a honda civic decided to run a light and kill itself.
You think rover parts are expensive . . .
