I would like to install a stainless steel straight true pipe on my defender 90 td5
I ve already replaced the mid silencer of the defender and now i want to replace
the rear silencer by a straight true
is there any possebility that this mod could harm the engine or doesn't it have anything
to do with the engine
the cat is staying in place for the love for the environement

It would probably be louder, but would not hurt the engine.

It will not hurt the engine at all. It will be slightly louder, not annoying though. Problem is, if you keep the cat it will do nothing for performance or egt. Dump the cat, they don't work well on diesels anyway.
