Cleaning out the multitude of rover parts from the garage, here are the first few items:

1. Rear door inner panel from POE hardtop. Apparently NLA, I've not seen another. It's not perfect, one or two of the screw holes are broken, but it's definitely usable. $125 +shipping. Price is firm. If someone truely cared about the d-90 community, they'd buy this and have a mold made of it so that more could be made. While that's way more work than I'll do, I will happily sell the panel.

2. Seat parts. I have two NAS ST (waterproof) bottom cushions, two headrests and two back covers with no foam or frame. The bottoms need new padding and the upholstery is, to be honest, shot, but the frames are fine. The back covers seem good, and the headrests are fine, though one has a stain. Say $150 for the whole shebang?

3. Roll bar end caps. Not sure they've ever been used, though I doubt it. $75. Would make excellent Christmas tree ornaments if nothing else.

Prices do not include shipping, and I'd prefer a local pickup (I'll drive say 50 miles to meet someone) I'm located in Northern Virginia. I'll consider trades -- am in need of a new cam (crower or other), double roller timing set, a full set of new model solenoids for a warn winch, a replacement for the ipod that the bastard fight attendant on the USAir shuttle is now enjoying with 1700 of my songs on it, or anything else remotely compelling. I've attached a picture of the rear panel, I can try to get pictures of the others, though a bastard airport employee at the airport in Jamaica is now enjoying my digital camera (are you sensing a theme?), so it may take a while to get pictures. Besides, you know what all this crap looks like anyway.

I'd recommend emailing me with questions -- I think that PMs may be a little less than reliable just now.

Thanks,

Tony

Tony,

If nothing else, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post.

There is a guy in the "Wanted" section looking for some seats. FYI.

Good luck,

Greg

Sorry, Kip, they were sold first thing this morning. Can I interest you in a rear door panel? Perhaps some lovely seat parts?

The roll bar end thingys are in the car and ready to go to the post office in the morning to their lucky (and obviously fine judge of Rover Parts) new owner! I'd be lying if I said that my heart strings weren't twanged at their leaving my custody. As I lovingly squirted them with windex for the last time, a felt a tear develop in my eye. I blame the ammonia in the windex.

Who wants to truly turn their life around and be the new owner of some glorious seat chunks or perhaps a rear door liner (the liner alone brings a smile to my face just thinking about it -- I can't imagine the glee that one would experience at having it actually installed in their rig!) I'm not promising increased sexual prowess from owing these fine products, but I am willing to pass on my good luck to you nudge nudge wink wink.

OK, let's move this stuff -- how about $125 for the seats and . . . I dunno . . . $110 for the panel? C'mon, people, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

What would be shipping for the rear door panel to zip 90731? If reasonable, I'll take it.

Yup, do you want me to just ship it out the cheapest way possible?

Yup, do you want me to just ship it out the cheapest way possible?Hehe, for some reason I invision it being strapped on the back of a pack mule and then the mule (facing west) being smacked on the arse.

Now that's not bad thinking!!!

I think a pack mule would in fact be more expensive than other methods, actually, since they don't have much of a sense of direction and aren't GPS-equipped, so I think you'd need to lead him here (hence alot of Motel 6 stays).

I also imagine that mule shipping insurace would probably be a biatch.

Cheap + insured + well packaged = good. My tailgate is not in a hurry to get covered, it's been cool being naked this long.

I actually could make a mold of the thing...

Seat parts for an in store credit with Pendy Import?

Smack that mule!

Don't get a double roller chainset. I'll give you a lead on steel gearset for 20-30$

All that's left are the seat chunks. I can bring them to the middy if people want to see them, though Bobeck has dibs (he'll be there too). Let me know if you want me to pack them.
