Is a double cardon driveshaft needed when installing the SafariGard 3 link components.
If so is it because of vibration or other reasons.
Thanks.....Randy

I believe the SG 3 link allows adjustment of caster angles.
In the UK we only fit double cardon shafts after a lift, & only if you are getting vibes.

Randy, the 3-link has nothing to do with the d-shaft. That will depend on the amount of lift you want. The 3-link will help adjust your caster closer to stock with any lift big or small

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I have a Stage II lift.
Lifted it 2&1/2 to 3".

You NEED a CV drive shaft, as you don't want the stock one to fail on you which will cause a lot of damage and $$$.
Go with Tom Woods, and if I were you I would spend the extra $$ and get the double CV drive shaft.

When I bought my 300tdi kit, it came with 2 new HD drive shafts. Could I just have the front one cut and add the CV for the top joint?

Yes you can but expect to pay $300 for it and Tom Woods will do it for you.
