I hate to do it, but I have too many projects and deciding between the CJ and the D90 isn't very hard of a topic. Photos available upon request. Starts right up, drives fine but it is an unfinished project so it does have a few tweaks that I haven't gotten done yet. I did replace a number of body panels with rivetted in sections, so it does have a solid body and floors, but it does have a lot of rivets to look at.
Engine had died, I replaced with a running junkyard shortblock, and put in a new headgasket. Oil pressure is good, doesn't burn anything, I believe it had been recently rebuilt. But I think the block had a new cam in it, and the head doesn't have the matching valvesprings. Makes it noisy. I had planned on putting a 4.0 head on it.

1984 CJ-7 project vehicle. ALL the new stuff has under 250 miles on it.
Rebuilt automatic tranny.
EFI conversion with the megasquirt programmable system.
5 new tires, slightly over stock.
New shocks.
Everything in the brakes other than the rear drums and booster are replaced. Including all the lines, hoses and proportioning valve.
hard and soft tops and doors.
replaced the exhaust, muffler and cat.
Looking for $2000, prefer to keep it local.
