Well I got the SG bumper on and now I need some lights. I am thinking about adding just two to start with. Wondering what brand and type of lights people are running. i.e. Hella 4000 cornering, euro, pencil, etc.

Whew! Three of those HID's would buy you another SG bumper! But if you've got the means then the HID's would be the way to go. They'd turn night into day! Personally, I'd go with three 4000's: two cornering beams, one for each side and a pencil in the middle. Their metal housing is quite resolute and can really take a beating. In addition to their rugged housing they're also easy to adjust.

I had two cornering beams and two pencils on top a while ago and it turned out to be a nice combination. The cornering beams really picked up peripherally while the pencils carved out a nice path in front of the D90. I've since removed them from the top and plan to mount the pattern I spoke of earlier on my ARB.

Hella 3000. Lightwight, thinner overall profile, but big beam like the 4Ks. Out of production now tho. I think I have a couple extras in the garage. ;)

Running 2 corner/2 fog/2 driving paired with Hella headlight replacements.

i have a set of HIDs coming:grin. i still have the PIAA 80 racing lights joe if you want three for the front. I can sell them to you for a good price

Don't the 3000's bend 90 degrees too so you can avoid damaging them on the trail?

My 3000s flop all over the place because I leave them loose on the trail otherwise I would break the mounts. I have see the HID 4000s and they Kick A$$, but they are $$$$$ and most of the time you can get away with less.

has incredible prices on Hella lights. I purchased 2 Hella Rallye 4000 cornering beams for $85 each. The Euro and pencil beams are even less ($78 I think). Shipping was cheap also. I have no affiliation with them, just a very satisfied customer.

Thats pretty good. Also check with Vendors in the Specials section. Maybe prices are down with them as well.
