Just talked to a guy that said you should spray motor oil inside the chassis where there are holes to keep the box frame from rusting on the inside......
Anyone ever done that???

You could.. but it would wash off after a little bit of time.. there is Waxoyl which is basically a combo of wax and oil (duh!) that'll make it stick longer.. roversnorth sells it, or you can make it, i believe its chainsaw oil and parrafin wax.
Nice thing about LRs is that they self-protect the undercarriage by leaking all over it!

Mine doesn't leak! Damn you pendy, you've doomed me to chassis rot with your reassembly wizardry...

Mine doesn't leak! Famous last words of a Rover owner. LOL.
I happen to be a fan of the Land Rover Corrosion Prevention System.

I'm a big fan of using aerosol ashpalt undercoating. I'd rather have to deal with the mess than rust.
