Finally found the more recent roof rack for the 90. Anyone have access to part number for more recent stuff?

Nik Barber bio (http://www.d-90.com/bio/nik_barber.html)

You mean this roofrack? Sorry, no part #, but I agree it looks great.

Nik's is a Tomb Raider rack. I thought that was for that model only as OEM part.

Right Chris - that TR rack mounts to a full external cage.

The one in the pic I posted is a G4 truck. Roofrack mounts to the gutter and is formed of similar components to the military rack system.

Wicks,

This one isn't OEM but looks sweet none the less. New SD roof rack.

Wow, breaking news. Yet another nice rack! ;)

That one's different - but I was hoping they'd make one of similar design to the Disco rack. Nice! I don't think it will fit with the roll bar on there though. Going to have to find out though!

The questions now are:

1) Will the new SD rack fit on D90s with roll cages (with clearance for use of its light mounts as well)?

2) Still curious about part numbers on the rack on that G4 Defender.

eric that is a good looking rack but the big question is will it work with the roll cage(you would think so becaues both are made by sd )

I will be calling the TRG about some tires, so I will see if they can find out.

I really like the look of the new rack as it is a little cleaner looking than the old one.

I post what I find.

Spoke with David. The New Rack will not fit NAS D-90's.

He offered the OEM that WIcks has- which apperently is a SD rack

or

a gutter mount that John Lee has.

No G4 kit listed so David couldn't help me.

Thanks Eric. I will have to call a UK dealer I think for a part number on that G4 unit rack. Gosh, it sure would be nice to have a current parts book, eh? Prolly all kinds of upgraded stuff in there.

One thing I saw under the hood of a newer one is bushed steering linkage joints, like Discos and Rengies. Would make the steering a lot more cush to replace to those rather than using the old ones. Prolly many such examples...

Wicks,

If you're calling, could you see if they have the G4 A Bar? It's Fugly but growing on me....

Thanks,

I see the cool factor in it too.

Question is will that fit on a Mantec/Superwinch/RN HD winch bumper properly?

That is my main worry. I haven't seen a G$ spec vehicle with a winch and Brush bar.... In the published picturs it's one or the other.

The Winch equiped 90s have a winch bumper and those cheesy warn lights - but that is it.
