I've seen hood scoops on the heater intake of several D-90's. I like the way they look but can't find them. Any body know where to look? Are they functional or cosmetic only? As a sidebar question, Heater output. According to the book has four positions. Off, forced air from vehicle speed, low and high. I don't think low is working.....any suggestions......I know high works but i should hear the motor engage at low and I don't.

from my limited knowledge, if heater works on high only then the resistor that goes into the top of the blower motor is junk. be glad that you have high ! I have low but now high and cant figure out why !

to change the resistor you have to pull the whole heater matrix out. dosnt seem worth it to me.

I've seen other intakes in plastic that were a little taller...maybe? Anybody else have a source for these?

Who cares if they are functional, they look COOL! Just kidding, I would think they must have at least a minimal effect.

Anyway, I am trying to arrange a "group buy" from the UK for some nice plastic ones.

They're not functional, but they do look cool.

I'd have to give them a call. I can't find them in the catalog or on their website.
