The other thread is fun, I am sure there are some garage queens out there.
I'll start:
1994: 81,365 on it.
Anybody else?

Speaks volumes about land rovers if they have to go to the shop with 62 and 5100 miles on them.
Now I feel better, at least I get service life out of my high milers.

Is that one coniston green? I remember you telling the story of it at one point. Someone left it at your shop?

Actually the 5K miler is dang near mint.
It is the best 95 D90SW I have ever seen, but the guy wants it all changed up. It doesn't "need" any work. The guy just wants it tweaked out with upgrades.
The one at Badger also needs no work, but that a story Chris would need to tell.

That's almost sad! It's nice to know there are pristine, stock, low mileage examples out there!

Jimmy,
When you had your Badger half cab fitted, the 90 had 61 or 62 miles on it. When it arrived at our shop it had 29 miles on it.

Customer had his 2006 Defender 110 in for service the other day. Don't ask me how he got it, I don't know and don't wanna know. Anyway, the Td5 110 has a drop tray mounted to the underside of the frame below the transfer case. I guess the idea is that the drops fall into the foam pad on the pan and not on your garage floor.
I thought is was a classic "fix" straight from Land Rover.

Yeah, like the sloped floors on Disco I's so that when water leaks in it can run back out!
BTW, they sell magnetic trays (first saw them when I had my MGB - go figure) that just attach to the bottom of the oil pan to catch drips. Personally I feel more comfortable with a puddle - that way I know it still has some oil in it! :grin

I thought I was "low milage" with my 94 that just turned 37k. Probably turn 38 before Thanksgiving. That garage queen period of its life ended when it fell into my grimy paws.

Mine has 18 miles on the odometer currently. Probably because I just replaced it this afternoon.
Did you know that programmable Autometer gauges can use the existing VSS sensor in 1994/95 Defenders?
