No roof!

I have a 1988 Defender 90 hard top. However with summer approaching I would like to remove the roof.

I have seen many photos of the series vehicles with the removable door tops without a roof...and these look pretty cool. However, my door tops are not removable and I was wondering if anyone has a photo of what a defender looks like without a roof and the door tops still in place.

I dont really want to go to the trouble of removing the roof to find it looks stupid!

Oh yeah - I dont have a roll bar either!

Any photos of what this might look like would be very appreciated!

Also, what happens to the seat belts? The top of the belts are currently attached to the hard-top. What are they attached to in a soft top?

They are mounted to the roll bar on the soft top.

I am almost positive I've seen one in the "Owner Bios" section of this website. Look around. It will look a bit odd but I don't think it'll be bad looking at all. Although I have the roll bars, I usually have the door tops on my soft top D90 when I take the top off and it doesn't look bad at all. If I find a pic, I'll post it here. Goodluck!
