Doesn't look like much of it is from a Defender either.

That company has been around for a while now. The trucks come up for sale every once in a while, and they are always hideous.

Looks like the same idea J.P. put in his. I think they are the third row seats from a Disco II. Looks like them anyway.

Those rear seats are what's in the new 2007 Defender. I have also seen them available aftermarket in the some of the UK Land Rover mags. Nice thing is that they fold up over the wheel wells and recline!

I almost bought a set for my 110 from a board member through AB(cant remember his name). I still might do it but whew, I should just wait for my kids to outgrow their seating limits. MIke

No, but they did a pretty good job emulating tacky English Gentlemen styling!

I saw that they said that one the site wrt the cheaper seats...but I wonder if it is some nanny state law that says they're no good or if they really are no good for baby seats. They don't really look like they'd be any worse than the bench seat in a ST?

i think the $$$ ones at exmoor come w/ seat belts and the $ ones do not and that is the reason for no baby on the cheaper ones.
regardless, i'd love to snag a pair of these:

I think LR just adapted the DII rear seat design for the defender, they seem pretty similar. The ones that exmoor sells are not LR seats, but fancy aftermarket ones. The mounting and seatbelt arrangement unfortunately makes the expensive exmoor seat look like it belongs in an amusement park ride.
I particularly like the amp mounted to the load space floor at the very back. Very practical.
