Yes, they are iron on. I put a cloth over the the patch then ironed it onto my pack. I would suggest doing this to avoid burning or melting the patch. I will be doing the other colors (tans, greens, etc..). I have the order in now and they are playing with the colors to give me some options. I will keep you posted.
