Hey gang,
An announcement by the Discoweb this afternoon may generate a rise in membership and activity here. To summarize, basically, the Discoweb is going to be offline for a little bit to undergo maintenance. With over 2200 members there, chances are, some will come over here to pass the time and that is fine as far as I am concerned. The site and forum have always been open to any Land Rover Enthusiast that wish to drop by make new friends.
I already can not monitor every thread or post being made so I would like to remind our regular community members if you see any problems or issues that I should be made aware of, to use the "Report this post" link found in the lower right hand corner of any posting. This will email me and bring the post to my attention faster for review what is going on if need be.
Thanks!
Ragland

Unfortunately I just took part in a cat fight that was going on over there.
I think I'll try to mind my own business.

Randy,
I have a post I was going to put up in that catfight, but decided against it. I did save it to my clipboard and i think its pretty funny -- might get a laugh here, it's a funny vision.
=====================
Where's that canyon valley from the closing scene in Thelma & Louis? Remember, the girls fly their car into oblivion -- in a final blissful escape after totally f**king up their lives?
How about anyone who is driving a modified truck that John Lee doesn't like (raise hands please) come meet together there, and like a lost pack of lemming rovers suffering from serious self-abnegation, we'll take that final drive in full flight formation together?
Ahhhh. Anyone want to get stoked first?

meow.
Hehe. Best thing to do in a catfight is to sit back and eat some popcorn.
:O)

Doug and Michael, got some good grins out your posts.
I think most people, including myself are much bolder from the safety of the web than they would be face to face.
John doesn't seem to mind that he paints a big target on himself.
As for myself, I'm going to try to type on the forum and BBS's, what I would be willing to say in person.
So I'll be having a lot more popcorn.

He doesnt. You know why? Because its the internet. Take it too seriously youll have a stoke. The guy asked for opinions and he got them. If you dont want to here peoples negitive reactions, dont ask.

Randy,
I ride with John at least once a year, and buy stuff from him often. We've had some serious differences, and also some good times as well. He gave up half a day one time to help me at the Salton Sea with a broken ignition.
He's a good man -- but take him to seriously and he can easily ruin your day! ;)

I'm a sucker. I thought I would have learned my lesson after getting schooled over on Pirate for opening my mouth too soon. And I fell hook line and sinker at Dweb after seeing Lee's posts. From now on I will comment only on things I know about, wich should keep my posts to a absolute minimum. I do look forward to meeting some of you out on the trail someday so I dont want to burn any bridges before then.
Jonn if you are reading any of this I appoligize, you have got some bitchin stuff over at EE, I may not see eye to eye with you on some things but the same can be said of me. I will never ask your opinion on my truck.

Yes it was sort of strange the way the thread started. The guy kind of stuck his chin out for the hit.
I just thought the comments were sort of extreme.
