salvage title means that you may beable to get it registered as a kit car, at least that what i heard, not sure if this is correct though, any comments.

Allstate told me on salvage titles to be able to get full coverage on insurance you would need all the documentation from the rebuild of the vehicle. Not sure if all insurance companies are like that but it was a hick-up for me on a '97 I found with a salvage title but no docs on what happened to it or what was done. Allstate said they couldn't insure it.

Yet another parts car that someone will either overpay for, be foolish enough to drive, or both.

I emailed him, this is what I got. To me it would only be good as a parts car. I would never even attempt to drive it on the road or bother with the title.

Hi, at the moment is there no title. The only paperwork possible is a salvage title from the office for foreign missions (UN). Parts would be easy.
It is a no reserve auction but it is a auction - we have to wait until the end.

if it is an ex UN vehicle which they shipped to the USA, there is a chance you may be able to petition it. I believe it has been done.
