Hey guys!

I was digging through a box of old toys from my childhood this weekend, and came across a small Transformer that looks an awful lot like a Land Rover. It's only about 2" long, and looks to be a fairly generic cross between a Defender and Series IIA.

What do you guys think?

It's a Defender (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brawn_(Transformers))!

Defender with a Jeep grill :)

It is unfortunate about the grille, though it only has 4 vertical slots vs. the trademark 7 slot Jeep grille.

That is too funny :) When I was at my folks house for Christmas I dug through some of my old toys to give to my 4 yr old. Found my old Transformers as well, and my son loves them. No Defenders though. That one's a keeper! Hey Highmile, that cartoon drawing on the Wikipedia page should be your new avatar!

PS I just looked and there are some on ebay if anyone is interested. I had to control myself not to get one... :rolleyes

Yep, that's Hasbro's take on a rover. More like a series style rover...Autobot 'Brawn'.

Do you guys like that it still has the original dirt still caked on it from my childhood?

Had one when I was a kid, be careful with the arms and doors, as they break really easy.

Hasbro has also re-released him recently as well, found one at Kay-Bee toys about a month ago and he's sitting next to my Matchbox and Lego Defenders right now.
