View Full Version : Wanted - Broken iPods

Anyone have any broken iPods gathering dust (ideally iPod Mini's pictured below, but full size will work too) that have had the hard drives and/or screens go bad? Looking for some donors to try some mods on but I also have my full size 30gb iPod thats at the point of the drive failing so I would like to try and fix that too, but want to try on a few Minis first if i can get my hands on any. If some of these dont work, not a big deal since they were broken to begin with.

If you have any, shoot me a PM with what you have and what you want for it or I can hook you up with some D-90 Source swag from the CafePress store. I'm now out of all the items from the old store except sticker.

Follow up (02/15/08):
As a follow up, some have sent me messages asking what I am doing with these, specifically if I am reselling them.

I'm not reselling them. My request is strictly for fixing my own stash of iPods that have fallen into various states of disrepair and trying some tricks/upgrades to them if possible, depending on the model. I am still looking for more junker/broken units if people have them.
