I ordered a bunch of this stuff from Mcmaster-Carr for my snorkel project. Now I have 8ft left. The specs are below. It has a 3" inside diameter and works GREAT for a snorkel. Mcmaster price is $6.38 a foot, I'll sell you the entire 8ft section for $45 including shipping.

General Purpose Blended Polypropylene/Rubber Duct Hose with Wear Strip
Temperature Range: -60° to +275° F
Flexibility: Flexible
Abrasion Resistance: Very good
Compresses 33% of extended length
Color: Black
This blend of polypropylene and rubber, also known as TPR (thermoplastic rubber), handles a wide variety of applications at higher temperatures than plastic. Hose has an enclosed copper-coated steel wire support plus a wear strip to protect hose from damage caused by dragging. Material thickness is 0.030".

Is it the same diameter as the stock hose from the air filter to the MAF?

I would have to double check but I am 99% positive that it is the same diameter - 3". I ran this same tubing from the MAF to the intake (the MAF is 3", but the intake is something like 2-3/4" though)
