Others took better pictures and I'll post them when I get them, but here are a few shots of a little day trip down to GWNF. Board members in attendance included myself in Janey, Doug (Maryland 110) in his green 110 and Matt (Emerson00) in his white LWB.

Not shown (yet) is Doug taking his diesel 110 deeper than the door handles (twice) with no harm other than getting his feet wet :).

might not be door-handle deep, but it looks like Janey's got a good bow wave going in a least one pic.

The new wheels really update the look of the old 110's, and they wear them much better than series trucks do. Definitely nice. I'd like to get one of those older trucks at some point. I mean, I'd like to get on again at some point...

Thanks for the invite, Charles/Doug. Can't say enough how cool it was to enjoy "Humpty Dumpty" doing her thing off road. Amazing what a 13 year old stock truck can do.

Neat: on the way home sitting in complete comfort running happily over-the-speed-limit, it occured to me that the same luxurious highway ride had been bumping and girating around trails only 2 hours earlier... mud, trees, creek crossings, and so on. Made the last 11 months seem more worthwhile.

I'll get my pics up later - wife grabbed the camera for work and ran this morning. Nigel's got some good pics as well. And, Doug, the pictures I have of your wading at the end are awesome. We went through all pics last night at another friend's house...

Cool- I was hoping to have some photo's. Only did it a second time for the photo's. Think I was deeper the second time. Thats a weird feeling waiting for your 110 to sink (as the water rushes in ) so that the tires can grab the bottom !

Next time I'll post here as well as a little more notice via direct email. The club I belong to has trips practically every weekend and we can of course plan our own. In my case it's just a matter of time and timing.
