Does anyone know the web site to the company in the UK that makes the land rover name badges that go on the rear of the truck that say Land-Rover Defender 90 in aluminum??

I see one on e-bay about once a week. I don't know if that helps?

You're not talking about the OEM badge that came on truck? The One in CvC's Avatar? I think George had one not too long ago. I was going to get a new one - my clear coat has flaked off and it looks pretty nappy. Decided to let it be though.

Randy, found this vendor (http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=nicks-bits&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50) on eBay who sells genuine OE decals for defenders. He currently doesn't have one on his list of sales, but perhaps you could email him. Check it out!

I see those on eBay quite frequently, if I see one next time, I'll let you know. I was going to buy one of those blank ones for mine and have it engraved 1 of 1 ;) , but I think that's more appropriate for your TDi monster!

Randy, my local Independant Land Rover parts shop (JSF) had one of these on the counter last time I went in. It was Identical to the NAS aluminum badge except where the number is stamped, it's blank.
I thought they were a factory supplied part. Obviously Land Rover have them made by someone but I would be surprised if you could purchase direct.
I could make some enquiries at JSF for you if you like?
Or here is the link to JSF, they do mail order.

Funny, for sometime, I have been wanting to buy a blank as well to custom engrave something in the blank spot. But reading this thread made me remember that my Dealer gave me a blank one they had sitting around about 2.5 years ago. I think its still in my center console in the Disco but had completely forgotten about. LOL

It would be cool to see if I could get one made like my Avatar along with the web address in the spot where the # goes (its actually there in that pic but its so small you cant see it).

Watch out for ones that are simply flat aluminum. The better ones are like originals - with depth.
