Just checking to see if most D-90 owner's temp gauge runs right in the middle of the gauge. If have a Disco and it seems to run somewhat cooler. I just wanted to know if I need to replace the thermostat soon. Any suggestions would help.

Mine runs an about a sixteenth to the left of dead center on the gauge, regardless of the season.

Hey Darrin,
I would recommend replacing your thermostat just because. It is like $12 or something like that and a 5 min job and it is just good for piece of mind for that price. My temp sender always stayed right in the middle and then I changed the sender and water temp gauge and noticed that it moved all over the place. I think the stock one is not very sensitive. I replaced my thermo too but turned out I did not need to. Still glad I did.

There are I think 2 different T-stats you can use one is 88 C the other is 65 C. The 88 C will read dead center, the 65 will read about 1/4.
