The gunner is wearing a motorcycle helmet. We know they've got their priorities straight in choice of priority equipment.

cnn.com featured one of those Defender shots as its main image for a long time today. The motorcycle helmet looked ridiculous, though. My first thought was of the dvd cover for the movie Jackass, with the guy wearing a helmet as he rides the grocery cart.
