convert to an automatic transmission

Just a though, anyone know of anyone converting a 94 to an auto trans. If so how much?

PS usually it is easier to just get a 97, unless your trans is busted on the 1994

ECR will convert your transmission for a price

Yeah, I have had a price of $6500.00 from ECR. I don't want to spend that much that is for sure. My transmission is fine I was just thinking if it ever goes I will onvert to the auto. This is a job I can't do myself so I'm not sure it will be ecomonical to have done. Chris, If Tisdale gets back to me I will ask him if he will do a write up. Thanks everyone.

Richard, if you know Dale W. (from WC) or Ron B. (used to be from ML) I would shoot them emails. I would almost bet the house they can provide solutions to convert you to auto for 1/2 that price.

Hunting for the parts on your own might save you some scratch too. There was a auto in the classifieds last month for $450. I am sure whatever you cant find on your own, places like RDS would be happy to fill in the gaps.

I believe I bought $1200 in parts, and that can vary depending on how "factory" you want it to look.
