I have the Safari Gard rear tire carrier. They never sent me the brake light adapter. A solution I came up with was to have a round red LED installed in the spare tire and incorporating it into the wheel cap. What would be even cooler would be to cut out the Land Rover logo from the wheel cap so you see Land Rover when it lights up. Where would I source this LED? Whats' the best way to modify the wheel cap? Or is there a better solution?

Thanks. That is exactly what I have in mind except I have a factory wheel.

I did this a while back but with an old fashioned light. Used a round dinner tray I found at Salvation Army that fit the inside of the hub perfectly. Drilled 2 holes in it, 1 for the wires, 1 for the butterfly bolt on the back side to hold it into place.
Do not have a pix, took it off to work on the tire carrier and the Mrs threw it out ( my fault, left it in the garage but not in the Rover Zone.
