My wife and I are expecting our first child this coming week
My wife recently had a baby shower and received two SAME car seats. We made the buyers feel good by claiming we were going to install them in both our vehicles.
She registered for one and two were bought. Because of a 30 day return policy we are unable to return either seat, not even store credit. Neither have been installed, both are still in plastic wrap and come like from the manufacturer.

If anyone needs a great looking infant seat, or knows of any expecting parents please let me know.

Here are some features:

From birth to 22 lbs. (9.97 kg)
5-point harness
Center pull adjustment system
3-position base adjustment
Newborn head support

Size and Weight:
Carrier Weight: 7.2 lbs.
Base Weight: 6.2 lbs.
Total Weight: 13.5 lbs.
Size: 23" x 13" x 18"

If we weren't already lined up to inherit one from friends, I'd be all over it -- we're expecting on Sept. 19. Best of luck!!!

Thanks Tony, good luck with yours.
Inheriting is always good, what if I sweeten the deal with a set of wiper blades :)

Hey Tony,

Check the date on the car seat, they expire! (http://www.car-safety.org/faq.html#Q25) Also be very careful of getting a used seat even if from a friend. There are so many little things that could have happened during it's service life that can affect it's safety. Most parents don't know that washing the restraint straps compromises their strength for example.. Oh, and keep them rear facing as long as you can (35 lbs in most of the better convertible seats these days).

Hey Jason,

That is your call in regards of it fitting in the back seat. It will but I am not sure that it is recommended. I feel the back seat is more safe then the side facing seats.

Good info, I agree, my wife recieved three pre owned car seats, and we felt more comfortable of getting one new and to 08 standards
