Hi all,
Firstly thanks for your help in my last post about getting a cubby box tray that a cd fits in.
I have now got it, but wanted to see how the cd changer fits. Dose it slide throught the hole or just sit below the tray.
A photo would be great, my e-mail is: james:defender50th.co.uk
Thanks for any help,
James

James
Glad to hear you got the parts you needed :grin
If just had my cubby torn down and my cd changer out yesterday. I sorted out why my changer was skipping and fixed it myself. Long story anyway.
The NAS 90 came with a Clarion (stamped Land Rover) head unit, and a Clarion CDC605 6 disk changer. This changer fits the hole perfectly although I am sure others will also.
The back of the cubby box has a steel plate. It has 4 holes that are pre drilled and taped to accept the changer brackets.
I will take some pictures this afternoon and post for you.
Have practice now taking it out and should only take a few minutes now

Mike,
That cd changer is pretty cool, i had no idea that it fit like that in the cubby. Do the brackets that mount the changer and the new cubby insert come in a kit?? If so does LR or anyother company still make them?? How much too?

Mike
I believe that the brackets come with the cubby insert and are still available form Land Rover or try the Rover Connection
RTC7799 CD Changer and cable
LRNA90CD97 mounting bracket for 97
Hope that helps.

Mike(hmmmm i kinda like that name),
Thanks for the info, they sell them at atlantic british, but they are out of stock right now i'll look at some other places too, but it didn't tell the dimensions u need for the cd changer, i'm looking at a Sony CDX-t69 which is compatible with my sony reciever, its Dimensions are 263.4 x 60 x 159.5(mm)....do u know if that will fit?

Hi Mike,
Thanks very much. You sorted it all out for me.
The changer i have is not the same as yours. The radio in mine is a Phillips system, and the autochanger is phillips as well.
Land Rover can do me a Clarion sytem (head unit, changer, lead and mountings) for equivalent to $1800.
I think i will just fit the philips autochanger that works with my headunit. I will not fit as nice but will look ok, And save me a fortune :)
Thanks again for all your help !!!!!!!!!
