I need a Land Rover expert - one who could qualify as an expert in a legal setting.
Must be willing to travel to Utah at least once (travel compensation should be reasonable).
Travel to here - Maryland - is not required, but would be welcome nonetheless.
PM for further details.

Is it mechanical in nature? I would imagine a factory cert tech would be you best bet, or maybe someone like John Robison.

why not find a person in Utah and one here like Gary Landes since you don't want to throw much more money @ this situation. Do you need someone specifically knowledgeable about humpty's condition ?

LOL I wish.
I'm reluctant to disclose too much on open forum - it's a legal matter.
Essentially it's an overall condition evaluation and estimate of remaining repairs.
I posted this hoping someone would say "hey, so-n-so's from Utah and is an easy expert to qualify."
I don't mean to be vague; I'll disclose details to the interested experts by email or PM. It's not as "bad" as it may sound.
Follow-up Post:
Doug,
I'm not putting any $ into this (someone else is).
w/o putting too much online; I need one expert either from there or elsewhere (MD or anywhere) able to review and professionally evaluate the vehicle - then get to UT at some point when needed.
No, they don't need to be familiar with Humpty (yet). Able to form a professional opinion.

As much as I'm willing to accept a free trip home, you wan't someone with real qualifications, not "wrenches own rover and spends too much time reading rover mags" qualifications.

Are you planning an insurance fire?
Nope, someone's getting their a$$ sued.

Nope, someone's getting their a$$ sued.Shhhh... walk "quietly" with a [BFH] and than BAM! right on the noggin.
(That is, the person getting sued... not the expert.)
