Mobil Delvac 1300 - Good oil at a decent price (Walmart). IMO, more important than oil choice is to change often due to soot contamination.

I've been using Castrol (formerly Drydene) Dieselall since about 1979. They call it Tection Extra and Tection HD now.

Chevron Delo with 3k changes.

Sooner or later I'll start having the oil checked to see how it's wearing just to make sure I'm changing at the correct interval.

I used to be a big fan of castrol until they began blending their oils.

I have used Valvoline Blue with great success and am very happy with the oils performance after sending out for analysis at Blackstone labs http://www.blackstone-labs.com. The Valvoline Blue product is fairly new in the last couple of years but it is an oil engineered for Diesel engines.
