Ok guys, before I place it on Ebay, I figured Id post it here first.

I am selling my near pristine stock LR console out of my 1997 D90.

As you can see in the photos its sweet.
Don't really want to sell it, but will if I get my price.
I haven't seen one near this nice in years.
It was always treated with 303 UV protectant.

It also includes the parts shown:
Console
T/c shifter boot
T/c boot retainer ring
Rubber boot for floor
Clarion 6 disc CD changer w/ extra cassette (newer model than factory)
Fuse/relay area cover
Trans shifter border ring

Other photos available

Buyer to pay all shipping and handling costs, as well as fees if paying by paypal.

$1500.00 net to seller.

From what I have heard, the Ashcroft ones are a nice copy, but not near the same quality or function of the originals.

Good point, I have not seen one yet. I plan on ordering this week for a 110 project that we are doing.

lets do the math....

My very nice original for $1500.00 (+ shipping)
which includes the boot, CD changer, etc

or

Ashcrofts for:

$650 for the part
$620 shipping ("because it's a big item the carriage comes out at £ 310, door to door, Kind regards
David Ashcroft") Thats to FL, CA is a bit more.
$36 for the boot
$90 for the rubber
$30 for the shifter ring

So thats $1426 not including any Customs charges, no CD player and you get a non original.

Yes you may save some on having it sent by boat or something, but mine seems priced right compared to what you get for about the same price!

Generally for my purposes when a used part costs as much as a new part I will opt for the new part (Radio or not). Who knows, maybe when mine comes in it will be totally inferior and unusable. But probably not and it will be a viable alternative to the limited amount of used ones left available

Wasn't ECR paying big money for those?

Yes, but not that one is double what we have been paying for mint ones and it is cut up. Just my opinion, good luck with the ebay sale though. I'm sure someone will buy it.

where is it cut up??? There are 2 tiny holes where a bracket was drilled by the LR dealership that you can barely see low on the passenger side.
Please clarify your statement Fidel
