I don't have this item for sale at the moment, rather, i'm in the process of determining if there is a market for it or if anyone here might be interested in purchasing mine. It's in perfect shape with small amount of rust on the capping. However, I do have new capping here that i would include with the sale or install onto the tub prior to shipping. Price? I have no idea.. wondering what the market might think. Basically, I'm comparing the price I would get for my tub to the price it would cost me to purchase a UK tub.. new or used, to see how much my "project" is going to cost me.
For some context and background behind the "project", see thread called "Question" in Misc Chit Chat for more info.

It looks like there is no immediate interest in this item. Anyone have any thoughts on price or where i can offload it? ECR not interested... he has several in stock.

I bought one for $325 as well. Where is the filler neck located? Front or rear of the back tire? I might have someone interested for the right price

Well, the tub is still on the truck so i have quite a bit of disassembling to do. Filler neck on the side behind rear wheel.

I did learn that i can get a new euro tub for $2800 new... yikes. The goal is to find a euro tub new or used so i at least have it lined up.
I'd like to include the capping with the sale rather than parcel it out.
Anyone have a line on a European/UK supplier i can reach out to to get a used 2007 or later tub?
Long story short, i'm mounting the new forward facing land rover rear seats into the truck. rather than fab up the wheel wells i'm weighing my options to see if it would be logical to secure a new style euro tub.

they are sweet, eh.... the guy who had the truck b4 me got them from here: http://www.wetokole.com/
so what are you asking for ths one?
well i was thinking that i would get quite a bit more than the $300'ish that i'm seeing here but if that is the market value then i suppose i'll have to take it.
the next objective is to secure a preferably used 07-later euro tub and then i can start moving on selling this one.

I had the same seat covers in my previous D90. They are actually really comfortable and dry super fast. But, I think there are some other more manly patterns around :)

Try Stephen Peters. He could possibly get a tub from overseas. Lord knows he found whatever I needed when I built my hybrid truck. Gordo

If that tub WAS for sale, and in decent shape, I would pay $750 depending on condition. I've been rabidly looking for one for my hybrid project. I think RN wanted something like $1700, maybe more.

Here's the scoop on Tubs as far as I was able to gather after speaking with RN. 94/95/97 NAS tubs are not manufactured anymore. In their place, the European 1995 to 2001 tub is used. These are special order @ $3188.15 plus approx shipping of $400.

Wow. I guess the dollar must have slid a bit more than the last time I checked with them. I'm trying to figure out now whether I should cut and weld my d90 frame, to make my SIII tub fit on. I bought a couple of NOS D90 quarters from Steve up at DAP, so I could put them on my tub so the wheel wells would be in the correct place.. of course that means cutting a few inches off each of the quarter panels so they are the SIII length too. I've had my project on a halt, as I've been convinced by many to just use a D90 tub and top, and sell my SIII stuff. It would save me a lot of time to just use D90 parts, not to mention look better. Justifying that at $3K for just the tub is tough though. Anyone else know where I could look for used tubs? Since I've got a couple of fresh quarters, I'd take a beat one too...

hell if $3200 gets you a new one then take offs should be cheap enough, just have to keep asking around. any of the good Uk breakers should have one.

True, true. Too bad I don't have any contacts in the UK, to go cruise the breakers...

No prob. Keep me in mind though. I'm in W. Mass, and would be happy to turn wrenches to help relieve you of that burdensome tub...
