Before it hits ebay, here is a chance to buy a pristine rear bench seat out of my 1997 D90 soft top
It has only been sat in a few times!
Removed it shortly after I bought the truck new in 1997 and its been stored inside ever since. Also treated with 303 UV protectant since new.
Price is for seat only.
Hardware to mount it may be available (but I have to find it after 11 years) for extra $.
Asking $895.00
Buyer to pay all shipping & handling fees, as well as any fees if paying by paypal.

I may be interested in the 'Y-belt' that mounts int he center if you have it, in good condition, let me know what you are asking. Any chance you are selling the rear speaker cabinets that cover the seat belt recoil mechanism?

Scott, I do have both of those, as well as the rear recoil seatbelts. (all like brand new, removed in 1998) Just not sure I am parting with them quite yet. Need to sell a few other things first and see.

Hey Cliff, I never saw why your parting your D90 out. It get wrecked or something?

Not really parting it out.
Selling off engine stuff, and things I either never use or wont be using now.
Putting the 6.2L 2007 chevy engine in from a 2007 Escalade ESV (403hp/417tq) w/ the 6 speed auto. Dont need any of the engine parts from the 4.0 (other than to offset the cost of this project)
Dont think the snorkel I am selling would flow enough air (and it was never hooked up), the jump seat I never ever used, the console wont be needed with my shifter for the 6 speed auto etc.

Aah ok. Sorry, just seemed like so much stuff, wasn't trying to imply there was something wrong with it. Sounds like you'll have a monster there! No way to retain the stock auto shifter either? What are you going to replace it with?
So I have you lug nuts - were those extras, or you doing different wheels too? Sorry for the inquisition and hijack, just curious :)

I took off the alloys in 2001, and have run GCR steelies since.
So I figured after 7 years they needed to be sold since now the alloys are sold too. :-)
The shifter thing is a whole 'nother conversation as in the 'lade its just PRNDM. In "M" its controlled by the steering wheel buttons, plus you have tow/haul mode and built in electronic cruise control in the ECU and tranny. Thus I may fit a new RR steering wheel, or use the floor shifter I now have w/ some mods. It "appears" to look like any 5 speed manual truck right now. I would have to start a whole thread or web site about all that.

Interested, yes. I have two small kids now and they need a seat, and belts. Can you part with the hardware and belts? If so, how much for the whole deal? If you know of another source for these other items I'm still interested in the seat.

I don't think you can buy the brackets from any supplier new anymore. You sometimes see some for sale here or there, but it is hit or miss. If you do a search, someone had a pattern for having them made (they are pretty simple in design/execution). You may still be able to buy the belts new, but they are expensive, and I also hear that Discovery rear belts will work, though the center 'Y-Belt' is a tad short. Again, do a search, it has been talked about much in the past..
