Well if your going to advertise, at least give us a hint as to what awesome machine is going to replace the crewcab! :tounge

And DON'T tell me your stretching Serious One 145 inches....:crazy

LOL. Nope.

I've been working on the S1 to get it ready for a month of being stored in Moab. I have an event there the first week in May, then another in the last week in May. I just want to get all of the stuff done on it that I can because I'm going to leave it there while I travel back and forth. No frame stretches I promise.

I'm looking at either a custom Doka Mog with a camper on the back, or a MAN 6x6 camper/expedition vehicle. Selling the CrewCab would be a nice downpayment on the MAN. I'd come out about even with the Mog.

The Mog and 6x6 are pretty sweet.

If it wasn't April Fool's...I might believe you.

I have pics of what I've been looking at. I about wet my shorts when I found this Mog in Germany on eBay. Have been looking at MAN trucks ever since I started the CrewCab.

If nothing else the pics are cool. I'll post 'em.

Michael,

Wow!! I thought it was a April fools joke. That wil be very difficult to part with. The Mogs are very cool trucks. Had my eye on a few before I got the 130.
Good luck

How about this mog I saw in Ballarat last week.

That one is pretty cool, but I want something newer that has the larger engine. Also, a Doka (double) cab is high on the list.

How hot was it in Death Valley when you were there?

Thanks for the pic!

not to bad, around the mid 80's in the day and 50's at night.

Wow, surprizing. I had a friend from Vegas there last weekend and she said it was upper 90's.

It's that time of year where temps can be weird.

Snowed in Lovelock above 4500 feet yesterday. We're prepping for the Nevada Trophy, and realized we better bring chains!

PS: There's an experienced Navigator looking for a ride. Weekend after this....

I'll be in Moab that weekend, otherwise I would have entered. I miss having to use my chains. I bought a set of 4 LacLede chains, the super beefy V-bar type for the Range Rover way back when in Oregon. I had to buy them to shoot a job on the other side of the mountains, and it was snowing HARD. The art director told me to go buy some good chains for the truck and to bill them. Hehe! So, I went and got the gnarliest chains I could find. Ended up we didn't need them. But...better to be ready than not.

Good luck!

Cool, Mike. I looked at those, but I don't think I could get them on the rear axle, and I KNOW I can't get them on the front. I'm running slim 's' spec chains, but haven't needed them yet. ;)

Would be great to have you come compete next time. I think we're going to have a good crowd, and good press coverage too.
