I don't know this truck or the owner...but seems like a good deal for an LE with 72k miles and winch.

This truck was listed on Auto Trader in Jan. '08 for $55,000 with 50,000 miles.

22k miles driving since January???

I thought the same thing, Ade. I still have a copy of the A/T ad.
I guess the discrepancy lends support to Bobcat 110's post above.

Garth please forward the Trader ad ASAP I just put this one under contract. Based on Carfax all miles are building cronilogically with no gaps or reverse miles. This is also supported by the Landrover service records.
Yes, DMV records show a "not actual mileage disclosure" reported by the first owner at point of sale, but many of these rigs had cables replaced.
The current owner has had this D90 since 2003 and purchased it with 52227 miles odometer now reads roughly 72.5k showing 21500 in 5yrs.
Just curious did you guys see the ad on Auto Trader last week for a Black Defender in Flint Michigan for 25k. I noticed it used the same pics as the one advertised by Park City. I contacted Susan and she said that some dirtbag had stolen her photos and were trying to commit a fraud just FYI

Sure, no problem. PM me your contact info.

Hey guys this Defender is not the same one listed and relisted on Auto trader (photos do not match).
You can pick it up for around $26000 but Im sticking to my original plan for a soft top. Just FYI
Campbell
why did you back out? Rust?
bklhrt508
No actually this Defender is in pretty good shape with very little rust ,needs a good detailing. She leaks a little oil. One of the jump seat bottoms is cracked, and the hood and bars need to be resprayed. Overall I think its a bargain. I just decided that if Im going to have close to 30k in a Defender it better be a soft top down here in Florida, If not for that it would be sitting in my driveway.

OOps!!! Garth thanks for the copy of the ad I received it today. Its the same rig with a different phone number. Bottom line its not good if you have to lie about it. Thanks for the info I guess I got lucky and dodged a bullet. Dont touch this one with a 10 foot pole. By the way it hit Autotrader Friday night with that same 50k mileage listed.
