Hey Chip, when you going to be in Richmond?
Rob - wish you could have made it over to the house tonight. Had some walleye and shrimp! Plus Ommegang and other ales..

Would anyone be interested in Legends Brewery? Near downtown and you can't get any fresher than straight from the tanks!

I am booked up the rest of this week. Let's plan for happy hour next week at Legends on the deck. Any day but Monday. Have ice hockey that night.

If it's in the evening I may be able to stop by. I just moved to Charlottesville and would be glad to take a drive to Richmond. If you guys are willing to hang out with a lowly Series driver.

Of course. Should we meet in the west end somewhere? To make it closer for the series

No worries there as I'll drive the DD. You'll be waiting till 11:00 for me to get there in the Series. :)

I'm free anytime next week...although depending when my truck arrives next week, I may be the guy rockin' the '84 CJ-7.

OK gang, let me share my interest in this post (other than the beer ;)) and get a little feedback.
I've been thinking about having another ROAV pub meet in Richmond in the next few weeks, and after reading this post I thought it may be worth seeing if you'd like to coordinate a date and place instead of the Murphy's Law likelyhood of having 2 socials on opposite end of town on the same night.
I'll also admit that my suggestion of Legends has a method as well - I'm trying to persuade them to support the MAR with both on site refreshments and HOPEFULLY a 60th Anniversary commemorative brew
So, what do you think? I'm going to set a date for one night in the next couple of weeks, give me some good ones if anyone form here is intersted as I'm pretty open.

Mike, a ROAV pub meet at Legends sounds like a plan too. Which week are you thinking? Next week only Tuesday or Thursday works for me.
As far as our informal gathering. Lets plan to meet this Thursday, the 31st, Legends, 4:30ish. How's that work for everyone?

I'll be at a concert in C-ville on the 31st, so that does not work for me, but I'll be happy to publish it just the same. I was thinking about the 8th of August. It's a Friday and I was hoping to grab a few people ready for the weekend and give them some heads up. We could do both. I don't think there's such a thing as too much beer and fun :)
Follow-up Post:
If I don't hear otherwise by later tonight, I'll publish both on the ROAV site - unless you all think I should just stick with the 8th over there?
I'm getting thirsty now...

I can do it on the 8th - and my truck will even be out here by then.

I can't do the 8th of August. Heading to Philly that day for the weekend. How about Friday August 22nd? Plenty of heads up for people to make plans.
Rob - see you Thursday. May be closer to 5. Save us a table on the deck!

I'm trying to get something off the ground pretty soon, but like I said you can't have too many socials :)
Maybe something later in the month also? Switch up the location to Capitol Ale on the west side?

West end sounds good. THe 9th works well for me. I will be on Nantucket on the 22nd.

I posted for the ROAV Pub Meet on the 8th at Legend. We'll see how many we get, but it's usually at least a dozen or so. I'm trying to get a commitment for another on the west side of the state - Roanoke, Charlotsville, Staunton, whatever. I don't know the places over there, though.
It's been my experience that you'll never get everyone to agree on the date, so just pick one (or 2) and go for it!
Maybe a D-90 social on the 22nd also?

We can plan another one for the 22nd. Sounds good.
