On my way to physical therapy today in Van Nuys I passed three Defenders. One was a sandglow yellow 110 with a hideously huge roof rack on top. The other was a NAS 110 w/o winch on Vaanowen. And the last was in the 7-11 at Burbank and Hollywood Way. The last was a NAS D90 SW dark green with the roof painted the same color as the body.
I know I kind of sound like a stalker but I have been laid after back surgery for so long it doesn't take much to get me excited.
The Yellow 110 was especially cool looking aside from the rack. Looked like a mid to late 80's 110.

The one with the obscenely big roof rack - was it a basket rack type, but really long? If so, I need to contact the owner of that truck. I saw it parked near Performance Products in a warehouse facility across the street, and noticed that it had CT-spec overhead light buckets on the roof basket. Want to buy them off him.

Wicks,
Just got a glimpse of it as it past me on Hollywood Way. The rack appeared to be flat with no sides and possibly square tubing. Yhe rack also extended out past the sides a little. It was an old looking 110 with weathered Camel Trophy yellow paint and large Land Rover stickers on the side.

Hi Kevin,
I'm the Conniston Green ST usually sitting in a parking lot on the 134 around the Pass Ave exit. Ho hum...the joys of living in Hell-A.

Brian,
I will go to extreme lengths to avoid the 134. I feel your pain.
